today i posted on blogger for the first time this year. since i signed up for tumblr my blogspot has been rather neglected. poor dear just can’t compete with all the pretty pictures.
When I was nine I entered in the Orange Blossom Festival Art Show. My flower drawing got a nice shiny ‘Commended’ ribbon which made mother proud. Yesterday I re-discovered how much fun being artsy and crafty is. Instead of wasting hours online I got creative and made some pretty invites. Feeling pretty pleased with myself about now.
i kinda want to do handmade invites for my birthday. i have already whipped up something in photoshop but i really have an urge to play with glitter and sequins and make something pretty.
i want a cuddle and a nap.
I placed my order for my showgirl costume. Its purple and sparkly and amazing. Its basically a leotard with sequins. Pretty pretty sequins! Motivation not to eat donalds everday too.
Wheeee! I still need to get my headdress… so spensy. There’s a cute one on ebay for about $60 US (if the bidding stays kinda low.. eeep) but its hard to tell if its the right colour. Argghh what to do...
